Microsoft Kin One and Kin Two life casters launch in nightclub
Considering that Microsoft and Verizon decided to pick a nightclub for the venue to launch the Kin mobile phone tells you what market they are targeting for the new two devices the Kin One and the Kin Two.
Both devices the One which is short and dumpy and the Two which has a wide screen are two shapes from the same idea, the mobile for those of you that want to tell the world every thought, sight and sound. Lifecasters is what Microsoft’s Robbie Bach called them.
Although the are numerous mobile devices out there that will give the user access to both Twitter and Facebook social networking is at the heart of the Kin sharing has its own dedicated button and can be found at the centre of the Kin mobile experience.
The target market is for both men and women between age 15 and 30 according to Bach. The phones will be launching next month but we don’t know when exactly to expect them also no disclosure on pricing yet either.
Both of the KIn’s are touch screen sliders which run the same software the larger of the two the Kin Two has a 8 megapixel camera where the One has 5 megapixels and the two has double the memory of the One with 8GB and a larger screen. Both Kin’s have the implementation of the Zune service. The web browser is an upgraded version of what you would get on Windows Mobile 6.5 phones adding support for pinch and zoom navigation. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear anymore on release or price.
