Will Verizon announce HTC Incredible and Nexus One? Four phones coming soon
Yesterday the Microsoft Kin One and Kin Two phones were announced, but according to the Examiner Verizon will be launching four new phones this quarter not including the Kin handsets, so in total that means the Big Red will have 6 new smartphones come the end of this quarter.
Many of you was hoping that the HTC Incredible and the Nexus One was going to be announced by Verizon, but this was not meant to be it seems, some say the HTC Incredible could still be released by April 29th.
Ok, so Verizon will be launching the Microsoft phones, and yes these phones are very good on paper and the social networking user will love them immensely, but do you really want the Kin One and Kin Two rather than the Incredible or Nexus One? A question worth thinking about we would say.
Verizon obviously knew that they were going to release the Microsoft handsets, so surely if you put a level business head on they will NOT release the Incredible or the Nexus One for at least a couple of months after the MS social phones.
Come on, why would they release the Nexus One or Incredible before the release of the Kin One and Kin Two? If Verizon is to release four new phones, do you think the list will include the Nexus One and the Incredible?

In my mind i'm getting tired of reading posts like this…they are moronic. First of all…the Nexus One will be released…it's just not being released by Verizon!!! Google is handling the rollout for the N1…and the Incredible will come when it comes. I'm so fed up with all of this bologna… How about you do everyone a favor and start reporting only when you have some real news to report and stop speculating all the time!!!!@
Verizon is Pathetic!!! They are out of touch with their customers. The Nexus One is available to everyone but verizon. That should tell you something… By the time Verizon releases their latest and greatest phones, they are usually 1/2 as good as what everyone else is releasing. Everyone should show verizon and leave them in droves.
I do think the list will include the Nexus One and Incredible, yes. Mind, the Nexus One will not be one of the phones that Verizon actually announces as part of their line-up because it's Google's phone. But we have quite a bit of info from Verizon regarding release date.
Regardless, releasing the Kin series of mobile devices does not preclude a smartphone launch because the target markets – and pricing, certainly – differ greatly. The Incredible is intended for individuals who want a high-end smartphone capable of web browsing and useful email. The Kin series is intended for teenagers who want a device that lets them post every aspect of their lives to Facebook. If they're priced well, and I suspect they will priced below a typical smartphone, then parents will love having the option.
Verizon has spent millions on the Droid campaign as well as inventory. They are still coming out with new ads. Why would they release any statements as to a release of a new phone until they have gotten there monies worth out of the Droid. Any one complaining about no solid information from Verizon and "Verizon has lost touch" comments should do them selves a favor and never open their own business. I want to replace my Droid with an "Incredible" or "The Unbelievable" or "The Suck me while I Text" as much as anyone but if you want service with a successful provider this is the process.
Read this Verizon – if you don't get a good phone soon (i.e., Nexus One or iPhone), your long-time customer is history. If you just want a bunch for teenagers to social network, fine, but don't expect me to contribute to that nonsense. Your customers are angry!
