Once there was the HTC Desire, then all of a sudden it has a successor known as the HTC Desire 2 aka HTC Incredible. Well according to some leaked information this handset will launch on Verizon soon.

This new smartphone has slight upgrades compared to the first Desire, some of the new features on the HTC Desire 2 will include a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED screen, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot that can take an optional 32GB card, 1GHz Snapdragon SoC, Android 2.1 OS, 802.11n, 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording and 3.5mm headphone socket.

It will also come with GPS and HSUPA, support for push email through Gmail and Microsoft Exchange, accelerometer, Flash Lite 4.0 support, around 5 hours of talk time and 149 hours standby time.
