Telstra gets Xperia X10 4th May
Telstra announced recently their intentions to launch another Android based mobile device, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. The handset is said to be with Telstra from May 4th. Thanks to an article over at news.softpedia.com
Australian customers can then enjoy the capabilities and the features of this wonderful handset and you can also head over to the carriers website to register for updates as and when they happen.
The Xperia X10 for those of you that didn’t know comes with a 4 inch touchscreen display and it is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. It also has Google’s Android 1.6 operating system and the platform is upgradeable to 2.1.
The X10 has a 8.1 megapixel camera with auto focus and smile detection along with face recognition, video recording plus more. An 8GB card is included in the package with a microSD card slot for additional storage space. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be available for free on Telstra’s $110 Ultimate plan, that comes with 150 MB of data each month for a two year contract. If you want the X10 without a contract it will set you back $1099.
