Samsung Restore Eco friendly coming this summer
Sprint and Samsung Mobile announced yesterday the launch of a eco friendly mobile phone known as the Samsung Restore. The intention of the new handset is to reinforce both companies commitment in delivering green solutions to mobile phone users, according to an article courtesy of news.softpedia.com
Which also includes the Sprint One Click user interface which is customizable and provides users with a nice mixture of both technology and environmentally friendliness.
This is the second green device from the two companies and this is expected to become available for purchase during the summer months via all Sprint retail channels. The handset will have a price tag of $49.99 which will include the signing of a two year contract, and after a $50 mail in rebate.
The Samsung Restore qualifies for the Sprint Eco Logo and also builds on the companies commitment to leading the wireless industry in the direction of environmental responsibility. The Restore is the third eco friendly phone that Sprint brings to the market and it will join the already popular Samsung Reclaim which we have reported on previously here.
The specs of the Restore includes a slide out full QWERTY keyboard along with a 2 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities. There is Bluetooth connectivity and a microSD card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space. A 2GB card is included with the purchase.
