BlackBerry Pearl 9100 Hitting Rogers Stores, Only Dummy Units Though
Research In Motion is gearing up to release the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 smartphone, their latest candy-bar device, and apparently Canadians will soon be gaining the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 as according to an article over on engadget via the BGR, dummy BlackBerry Pearl units have started hitting Rogers stores.
According to said article Canada’s Rogers has for some time been a loyal partner to Research In Motions and one that has quite often been amongst the first carriers in the world to launch new BlackBerry handsets, so would make sense that Rogers be amongst the first to offer the Blackberry Pearl 9100.
We did mention that the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 was being tested by Telus the other day which can be read (here) and now with news that the dummies are showing up on Rogers one could expect the smartphone to surface and launch quite soon, maybe even at WES 2010 next week.
Furthermore the Blackberry Pearl 9100 has been rumoured to see release on Fido as of the 4th of May which we reported on previously.
