Thanks to a report over at news.softpedia.com we can share news that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2a is all set to make an appearance in the United States.
Already you can pre order the device which is the successor of the Xperia X1. Pre orders are available now from Sony Style and the device is expected to become available on or around 29th April.
Those of you that may be interested in getting hold of the device which is a Windows Mobile based handset can order it in advance for $599.99. The device has a side sliding form factor and is powered by Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system it should also be receiving updates as well.
It has a 3.2 inch touchscreen display and a QWERTY keyboard. The Xperia X2a has HSPA, Bluetooth, GPS receiver which has Google Maps pre loaded. It’s got a 8.1 megapixel camera a Qualcomm 528mhz processor with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM a 4GB MicroSD card is included and there is additional storage space.
