The Research In Motion Blackberry Bold 9650 smartphone has found its way into the hands of the guys over at engadget, and naturally their have adorned the device with some hands-on treatment, which they start off by saying that if you own a Blackberry Tour you are 95 percent the way there.
Apparently the only real difference one will notice between the Blackberry Bold 9650 and BlackBerry Tour is the swapping out of the Tour’s trackball for a trackpad which they say makes a big improvement.
They uses a Sprint branded version of the BlackBerry Bold 9650 but state that Research In Motion does have unbranded units available as well which they assume may be picked up by the Big Red although Verizon hasn’t said as much and have been quiet.
The guys have of course come up with the usual galleries associated with a hands-on and you can view them by hitting their website, or they say try sticking an image of a trackpad on your BlackBerry Tour; however if you opt to view said galleries please come back and let us know what you think by dropping us a comment, and of course we posted the BlackBerry Bold 9650 Official full specs earlier.
