Good news for you Nokia X6 owners out there, as there is a new firmware update which is said to bring with it a number of performance benefits. The update is version v20.0.005 and also has new features which include kinetic scrolling.

The Nokia X6 is one of Nokia’s most advanced touchscreen Smartphones which we have an article on here if your not familiar with it, and is one of the company’s only devices that has a capacitive touchscreen display. Having said that Nokia always seem to be looking for ways of improvement and it looks like they have been successful again.

The version v20.0.005 will give a faster and more stable user environment whilst also ironing out any known bugs, the outcome is that the end results in the Nokia X6 becoming a much better device.

The best improvement seems to be the kinetic scrolling, although you may feel that the updated Browser 7.2 does it for you. There really is a number of worthwhile improvements and changes in this update so as you can imagine it is a big file. Please make sure you backup your files before you start the update and we would recommend that you do so through the Nokia Software Updater.
