HTC EVO 4G May Cost Same as Droid Incredible
Sprint’s first smartphone to surf the WiMAX network may possibly come priced on contract at the same price point as the HTC Droid Incredible, which by the way we posted a full video review of the other day, according to the latest rumour reports Intomobile.
Apparently their source article by electronista has it that according to a Best Buy Geek Squad rep, the rumour is the much anticipated Sprint HTC EVO 4G will come out carrying a price tag of $200 on a 2 year agreement, which isn’t a bad deal considering it’s the first 4G capable handset.
Although the new HTC EVO 4G is one of the highest specification smartphones, the device is expected to be placed in the standard smartphone price bracket which would enable more customers to grab hold of the device once it hits the streets.
Of course the HTC EVO 4G commanding a price tag of $200 would put in direct competition with the HTC Droid Incredible, but then the HTC Droid Incredible isn’t 4G so the HTC EVO 4G will have the edge where that is concerned.
