It seems a new mobile phone from HTC has shown up at the FCC which holds a Slider form factor, and although there is very little else known at the moment, taking a gander at the image it could be packing Android, reports an article over on Intomobile.
They gain their information by way of the guys over at phone dog, who give the model number of the HTC device as PC70110, but as yet no actual word on any name for the new handset. They believe the device could pack the Android operating system due to the look of the hardware.
They also say that tests indicate the horizontal slider phone will feature Bluetooth and WiFi and apparently could be heading for the Big Blue along with some Canadian carriers.
Looking at the image it looks to carry an optical trackpad sitting below the home, back, search,, and menu buttons, and could possible have a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen, other than that there’s not much else to be gleaned at the moment but we’ll let you know more as and when we hear.
