Sagem Puma Phone Now With the FCC
It’s been quite some time since we heard about the Puma Phone by Sagem which packs a solar panel on its rear, but we did manage to get a video of the Sagem Puma Phone back at MWC 2010 which you can view (here) to refresh your memory if you wish.
However, according to an article over on ubergizmo, the Sagem Puma Phone is now working its way through the good old FCC and in doing so could well indicate that a US release could be on the cards in the not too distant future.
According to FCC test documentation the Sagem Puma Phone has support for GSM 850/900/1800/1900 along with WCDMA bands I and VIII, which would also indicate that in that particular part of the globe the Sagem Puma Phone won’t be sporting any 3G goodness.
Spec wise the Sagem Puma phone packs a 2.8 inch QVGA touch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 2.0. 3.5mm jack, and microSD expansion.
