Vodafone are all ready preparing their own branded Android handset which is set to be released in May, the Vodafone 845. That’s according to a recent report over at techdigest.tv

The new phone is manufactured by Huawei and will run under Google’s Android 2.1 operating system., otherwise known as Éclair. Support for tri band GSM, GPRS, EDGE at 900/1800/1900 MHz and also dual band UMTS/HSDPA at 900/2100 MHz are expected.
The 845 is does feature a 2.8 inch touchscreen display and also a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and also 3G HSDPA connectivity. You will get 500MB of memory out of the box.
Said to measure just 100 x 55 x 13mm roughly will make this one of the smallest phones which are powered by Android. The 845 handset comes with Vodafone’s bespoke 360 software which gives access to the Vodafone Music and MyWeb applications.
