Nokia N8 Preview More Positive than Murtazin Review
The man in the know, Eldar Murtazin recently lambasted the new Nokia N8 smartphone in a review, and Nokia wasn’t too pleased. However there is now a second preview of the Nokia N8 available which seems more positive than Murtazin’s views according to a report by slash gear curtsey of my Nokia blog.
This second look at the Nokia N8 was carried out by the guys at Tweakers.net and is a 9 page long review including pictures of the Nokia N8, although they do state they are “not 100 percent convinced” by Symbian^3 and describe it at feeling somewhat “old fashioned” but still an improvement over the Nokia N97.
They say the build quality is high while the Nokia N8 sound quality is better than other smartphones especially in the bass area. The Nokia N8 screen responsiveness is yet another improvement over earlier Nokia handsets but still not on par with the likes of the HTC desire or the iconic iPhone, but better than Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X10.
Spec wise the Nokia N8 offers a candy-bar form factor with Symbian^3 operating system, 3.5 inch AMOLED multitouch capacitive touch screen, 12 megapixel camera with auto-focus and Xenon flash, GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA/UMTS, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5mm jack and microSD expansion up to 48GB.
