Ah the great iPhone 4G Gizmodo Scandal, it seems everyone has an opinion on the lost or stolen iPhone prototype which has garnered so much media attention of late and USA today reports that Jon Stewart of Daily Show fame has added his thoughts to the situation.

In the Jon Stewart video Stewart says “Apple, you guys were the rebels, man, the underdogs. People believed in you. But now, are you becoming the man?”

Stewart was commenting on the police search and snatch operation mounted against Gizmodo editor Jason Chen. I’ve seen the video although it isn’t available to view in the UK, and it is quite funny the way Stewart takes a hilarious swipe at Apple.

Stewart added “It wasn’t supposed to be this way. Microsoft was supposed to be the evil one. But now you guys are busting down doors in Palo Alto while Commandant Gates is ridding the world of mosquitoes!”
