Palm prepares for next WebOS version May or June
Mobile phone Maker Palm who have been in the news a lot recently and are soon to be integrated in HP’s global business are preparing to release a new version of its webOS mobile platform according to softpedia.com
The new release is expected to be with us in a matter of weeks. An email has been sent out by the company to alert developers and announcing the close availability of an SDK release candidate, which could now offer them the possibility to actually start testing their software solutions.
In the email alert Palm state the next version of webOS is coming soon and you will receive an email in early May announcing the availability of an SDK release candidate.
Since there isn’t going to be a full SDK beat cycle, this will mean that developers should get about a week at their disposal to report any bugs that they find in the webOS before it actually goes out to wireless operators. After the delivery is carried out to carriers application builders will then have a further 2 to 3 weeks in order to take care of application level bugs before the solution arrives on end user devices.
