4G Network Rolled Out in Pennsylvania by Sprint
The way ahead in the mobile phone game is of course the 4G network, and although the Big Red is working on their 4G LTE network, it appears that Sprint is gaining ground in the 4G stakes as according to an article over on phandroid; Sprint has rolled out their 4G to central Pennsylvania.
According to the source info found at mobile crunch, Sprint 4G coverage is now available in York, Reading, Harrisburg, Lancaster and other areas of Pennsylvania, which at this precise moment won’t make any difference to Sprint customers.
But when you consider the Sprint HTC EVO 4G WiMAX surfing smartphone, one of which was recently spotted at a Sprint store, is due to hit in the not too distant future they will be able to take full advantage of the Sprint 4G network.
So it appears that for the time being Sprint will command the number one slot in the 4G network stakes, that is until the likes of Verizon and others push out their 4G capable handsets.
