Apple has just adjusted certain sources for the iPhone 4G according to DigiTimes, there are a few Taiwan-based component makers that will receive its first orders for Apple’s iPhone 4G.
TPK Touch Solution and Wintek will be joined by Chimei Innolux in supplying the touch-panel modules for the iPhone 4G and Foxconn will be the one assembling the new iPhone just like they did with the iPhone 3GS.
Apparently Foxconn has already received components from a number of suppliers, which started in April, if you visit the source above you can see a clear table of the suppliers from Taiwan.
If these suppliers have already started receiving its orders could we indeed see the new iPhone 4G release in June or July 2010? We will keep you posted of course, keep coming back as we will have more on this.
Update: The new iPhone 4G according to an article Sharon published earlier states that it will possibly be released without iPhone OS 4.0, read more about this here.
