The much rumoured Research In Motion BlackBerry Slider 9800 smartphone has again hit the net waves this time in photographic form and said to be packing the latest BlackBerry operating system, BlackBerry 6 according to an article over on mobile syrup by way of bbleaks.

Word has it that the new BlackBerry Slider 9800 will be the first smartphone out of the Research In Motion stable to feature the new BlackBerry 6 OS and that the smartphone is expected to surface sometime in Q3 2010.

The spy shots could be fake of course but according to the guys once examining them they feel they are pretty legit and genuine and say they are fairly sure the images where snapped in front of a mirror.

They also note that when looking carefully the BlackBerry Slider 9800 is running on the Rogers network and there is a theory that the BlackBerry Slider 9800 may not even be a touch screen handset but they doubt that is true.
