T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide Goes Official
Well finally T-Mobile has got around to going all official with the T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide smartphone, a mid range full QWERTY packing slider which has been given numerous tweaks to make it worth consideration against most other high end Android smartphones out there reports intomobile.
The T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide is not much thicker than the original T-Mobile myTouch 3G at 4.55 x 2.37 x .6 inches and packs a 3.4 inch HVGA touch screen that features 5 home screen panels which can be expanded to up to 7 panels and rather than the standard search hard button it sports what T-Mobile has named a “Genius button,” which enables the user to use voice commands in search.
The T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide will be the first smartphone with the carrier to sport both Android 2.1 and HTC Sense UI which according to the article has been tweaked to for easier use by first time smartphone users.
As for those tweaks the T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide notifications window bar now sports an app switcher, while other tweaks are, a Faves Gallery application which shows up to twenty of your most contacted contacts, and myModes that lets the user switch the mode on your handset instantly.
Of course spec wise the T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide also sports a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, and the usual 3G, Bluetooth and WiFi and is expected to become available sometime in June as it had been delayed as previously reported (here).
