New iPhone 4G will record videos in HD
One of the features which is intended to be able to provide developers in iPhone OS 4 are the new API’s which will give developers full access to capture video.
The Apple iPhone 4G which has been rumoured all over the place recently is now confirmed to be able to record videos in HD (720p). A recent article over at techie-buzz.com confirms.
The iPhone 4G will also come packed with a 5 megapixel camera complete with LED flash. The hardware in the iPhone 4G is sufficient for HD recording, and the evidence appeared in the code of iPhone OS 4.0 beta.
The code was dug up and some received this video preset in the code, AVCaptureSessionPreset640x480
AVCaptureSessionPreset1280X720. This makes the picture a lot clearer as it confirms that the future iPhone will be recording in HD videos.
Now we don’t have that long to wait before a lot more becomes clear June 7th is a date for your diary as the next iPhone will be announced in San Francisco, CA.
