The Apple iPad is now ready to pre-order in the UK and will be on sale May 28th, before we get to the prices of this gadget let us tell you a little bit about O2 and Vodafone 3G data plans via Reg Hardware.
O2 will be charging £2, which will allow you one day’s access for amounts to no more than 500MB of data. If you wish more than this there are the 1GB and 3GB options at £10 and £15 respectively, based on monthly limits and are on a 30-day contract. O2 customers will be notified if they go above their limit and then you will get options to top up your account.
The O2 tariffs will get you ‘unlimited’ access to The Cloud Wi-Fi hotspots and BT Openzone. Vodafone is offering 250MB a month for £10 or 5GB for £25 according to ITProPortal.
Apple iPad Prices: the Wi-Fi versions only are as follows, 16GB £429, 32GB £499 and 64GB £599. The Wi-Fi and 3G models will cost £529 for the 16GB iPad, 32GB £599 and a massive £699 for the 64GB.
Personally when we get our own Apple iPad we will just stick with the Wi-Fi model, please let us know if you have pre-ordered yours yet, thanks. Pre-order yours right now if you have now already.
