Think back to the Mobile World Congress in February and in particular the Motorola Stand, you may or may not remember the Motorola Motoroi which was an Android handset.
Thanks to a recent post over on pocket-lint.com we have some very interesting news to share with you. While that particular version wont be making it out of South Korea a much better version will.
As Motorola launch the Motorola XT701 which happens to be another variant on the Motoroi design at an event in Taipei. The XT701 has a faster HSPA connectivity but only offers a 5 megapixel camera.
What this means for the UK handset is that it appear Motorola will launch a device based on the same but with better features so sources within the company have explained to Pocket-lint. We can expect the new handset to launch within the next few months and it is expected to come with a 8 megapixel camera with a Xenon flash and will be capable of playing back and recording 720p video.
We can also expect to see a much faster processor and have a HDMI connector. It should have Android 2.1 and we can hope to see MotoBlur as the user interface in the UK version. Apparently Motorola will be launching other Android devices this year.
