Nokia 1616 Price, Review, Specifications and Problems
The Nokia 1616 for India is a very cheap phone and we would love to know how you are getting on with it, this is the bit where you send in your personal review and let us and our readers know if they should buy or not.
The Nokia 1616 specifications are pretty basic with the likes of 65K colour LCD display with 128 x 160 pixels resolution, supports FM radio, 3.5mm standard audio jack, 22 days of standby time, dust-resistant keymat, anti-scratch cover, prepaid tracker, flashlight and a few more bits.
This phone comes in an array of colours such as Dark Red, Dark Blue, Dark Gray and black, you can pick this mobile phone up for RM98.00 via Celxis, please do let us know if you can get anywhere else cheaper.

cannot find any info how to find out my balance was 789 on old nokia but dont work on 1616 any ideas?

PROBLEM! This cell phone (nokia 1616) has a WEAK antena
I had problems for making a call in a large building, the signal indicator remains high but the problems are obvious, people dont hear you, you dont hear people, and the connection is lost.
Again in the Bus, on the move… the same problem, I lost 4 calls of the same person.
In another building, again, lost 3 calls.
A cell phone is supposed to work in those conditions too.
Everything else is good… but the volume of the cell phone is bad… you have to press the cell phone against your ear to hear clearly… I am comparing it's sound against an expensier cell phone motorola w5 wich is old and is damaged now, but has a clear sound.
So… everything else is perfect… but I will return it to the store
I have been given a new Nokia 1616 mobile phone. When my sister tries to contact me by email I never receive them. If she phones me we cannot speak tand I get a small red circle with a red line going through it on the screen of the phone. Please advise what the problem might be. I have tried deleting her number and then reinputting it but wth the same result. I previously had a very old nokia phone and had no problem receiving her texts and messages.
