For all you Brits that have been waiting to get your hands on some of the latest Android goodness, O2 has now introduced the HTC Desire smartphone, or if you are looking for something else O2 has also introduced the HTC Smart which runs Brew MO OS.
According to an article over on softpedia, both smartphones can now be seen on the O2 UK website and each targets their specific market segments. The HTC Desire has been called the Google Nexus One twin as it sports virtually the same specs.
Those HTC Desire specs are a 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash Android 2.1 OS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and microSD expansion up to 32GB with the difference from the Nexus One being the HTC Desire runs the Sense UI.
As for the HTC Smart, it sports a 2.8 inch touch screen, a 3 megapixel camera, 3G, Bluetooth, microSD expansion, 100mAh battery, 3.5mm jack and is the first handset from HTC to sport the Brew OS and preloaded with HTC Sense UI.
