For those of you on the Big Blue waiting to get hold of the Palm Pre Plus WebOS smartphone, AT&T has now released the smartphone as expected on the 16th of May. The Palm Pre Plus on AT&T will cost the purchaser $149.99 when bought with a new contract and qualifying data plan, reports an article over on intomobile.
Like they say, it’s better late than never but in this case it’s probably way too late to do any good for Palm. Furthermore the mobile hotspot feature which is free with the Verizon Palm Pre Plus seems to be missing with the AT&T Palm Pre Plus and isn’t shown on their product page.
For those of you that may have missed the spec for some reason or another, the AT&T Palm Pre Plus offers a 3.1 inch capacitive touch screen with multitouch support, sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3G data, GPD, WiFi, and of course webOS and upgraded storage capacity when compared to the Sprint version so offered 16GB of memory.
We have an AT&T Palm Pre Plus hands-on video for your viewing pleasure which you can view below and lasts just over 6 minutes of hands-on treatment, so all that’s left to say is hit up that video and enjoy.
