Sprint may not be getting Google’s Nexus One superphone to add to their portfolio due to Sprint offering the HTC EVO 4G smartphone as reported (here) it appears that Google is supporting Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G on their Nexus One store just like they did the Verizon HTC Droid Incredible.
According to an article over on phone dog, hitting up google.com/phone you’ll see sitting under the “phone + plan” area, Google has now added a brief about the Sprint HTC EVO 4G handset.
Although not really exciting news as Google did the same with the HTC Droid Incredible, and will probably do the same with other handsets packing the Android platform, does it mean Google is now hoisting up the white flag with their Nexus One?
Google is to stop offering the Nexus One through their online store as reported (here) which in itself is an admission of defeat with their revolutionary selling plan, but just goes to show no matter how big a company is things can go wrong.
