The Sports Tracker application for Nokia handsets has been give an update to support Nokia S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 mobile phones reports an article over on noknok and includes several new features, new online service and an interface redesign.
The Sports Tracker application used to be owned by Nokia but has moved into its own company called Sports Tracking Technologies, and Sports Tracker works with your Nokia GPS to track and record information during your workouts such as times taken, history and favourite routes taken.
Apparently the guys over at all about Symbian have been playing around with Sports Tracker update for a while and say that it works rather well when paired with a Bluetooth heart monitor and can share workout history over a KML.
Most Nokia S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 handsets can now use Sports Tracker including the Nokia N96, Nokia N86, Nokia N85, N79, N78, E75, E72, E71x, E55, E52, E5, Nokia C5 and many more and can be downloaded via the Nokia Ovi Store.
