The Nokia X2 entry level music phone has already been launched in India but we are still waiting for the handset to surface here in the UK, but according to an article over on noknok, Nokia has now placed a holding page for the Nokia X2 on their website.
Spec wise the Nokia X2 offers a candy-bar form factor with a 2.2 inch display, 5 megapixel camera, GSM/EDGE but lacks 3G connectivity which is somewhat of a downer, dedicated music keys as expected with a Nokia music phone, FM radio, microSD expansion up to 16GB and a 3.5mm jack.
Unfortunately though the Nokia X2 holding page doesn’t offer any insight as to the asking price of the UK Nokia X2 nor does it offer anything in the way of an actual release date.
Having said that with Nokia placing the Nokia X2 up on their website surely the UK launch of the music phone can’t be too far off. So will any of our Nokia faithful readers be buying the Nokia X2?
