BlackBerry maker Research In Motion, on Monday announced the launch of their BlackBerry Solution in China in conjunction with China Telecom and is to be delivered to enterprise customers of China Telecom via their EVDO 3G network to deliver smartphones, services and software which will be available for the first time for China’s CDMA customers.
With the BlackBerry Solution, enterprise customers with China Mobile will gain access to their phone, enterprise social networking, email and messaging and tap into a wide range of business software solutions reports Ionut Arghire, the Mobile Editor of softpedia.
Beginning in the 2nd half of this month China Telecom will offer the EVO 3G enabled BlackBerry Storm along with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software and is to be marketed with the “E Surfing” 3G service from China Mobile and when launched should be in 16 provinces.
With China Telecom offering the BlackBerry Solution it is expected that the presence of BlackBerry amongst China’s enterprise customers will rise, remarked Research In Motion.
