Over the past several months there have been a great deal of supposed iPhone 4G pictures hit the net waves, none more so that those pictures and details leaked in the iPhone 4G Gizmodo Scandal which we have covered quite extensively.
Other than the Gizmodo pictures there have been a few purportedly showing parts of the next generation iPhone, and Richard Lai over at Engadget has found a couple more by way of Chinese site Taobao that claims not only to have parts of Apple’s next iPhone but also a next generation iPhone faceplate in white.
Of course as China is well known for rip-offs this white iPhone 4G faceplate could well be one of those, and they apparently don’t have any white back plates and can’t even say what the silver portion is above the speaker.
Apparently the guys were told over the phone that there is “always a backdoor to Foxconn as long as you wave cash at someone,” and the Engadget guys say they were answered with a “maybe” for bulk orders of 15 to 20 iPhones.
So if it pans out that Apple does offer the iPhone 4G in black or white, which version would you like to carry in your pocket, black or white?
