Just a few weeks ago Nokia announced the launch of its first handset powered with the Symbian ^3 operating system, the phone is already available for pre order in Europe.
The phone can be easily admired on Amazon Germany and those of you that are interested can reserve one now ahead of the official launch. Thanks to a recent article from Ionut Arghire at softpedia.com
Nokia had announced that it would start shipping sometime during the third quarter and although the Amazon site does not provide a more detailed specific date so that theory still stands. Having said that the Amazon site does give away a little more which to some is probably a very important piece of information when considering the purchase of a new mobile phone.
The price tag attached is 469.50 Euros roughly $587. The specifications in the hardware department seem to be the same which means for those of you that do go ahead and pre order can look forward to a 12 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display plus much much more.
An orange version of the Nokia N8 has been spotted in the wild and a prototype of the device was grabbed in order for a photo shoot courtesy of the guys over at slashgear, even in the Orange colour it has to be said it still looks great. Have a look here for the Orange version.
