Research In Motion is currently very hard working on the development of the new Blackberry Bold 9800 slider the long rumoured device we have all heard about. Some further photos have recently emerged.
Thanks to an article from Ionut Arghire over at softpedia.com via Thecellularguru we can share those pictures and some further information on the device with you. The photos show the device running under the BlackBerry 6 operating system and it is suggested that the device will arrive on the market with a sliding QWERTY keyboard.
Although the handset is still unannounced it does mark a change from the popular candy bar QWERTY devices which are included in the company’s Bold series of devices which give the sliding design.
The screen on the Bold 9800 is a 360 x 480 pixel resolution although SurePress technology doesn’t appear to be included. Some other specifications we an expect when it comes to the market is 512MB of RAM with 4GB of on board memory together with a microSD memory card for additional storage. There should be Wi-Fi and a 5 megapixel camera and a track pad. Click here to see more pictures from The Cellular Guru
