More news about the HTC Desire and the Android 2.2 aka Froyo release update, first of all an XDA member got hold of HTC who was a little frustrated because they did not have enough space on their handset to install more applications.

According to Ali Waqas via Addictive Tips the customer had a little chat with a customer service rep ranting about his problem, which led the service rep talking with their supervisor, the word came back saying basically there is nothing the customer can do.

But was told ‘A new update is coming the 23rd of June and you will be able to put some apps on to the micro SD card’. This is great news for HTC Desire owners if this is all true, so Android 2.2 aka Froyo update is coming to the HTC Desire June 23.

We would love to hear from anyone that knows the truth, is this new update true or false or just another rumour for a little bit of tantalising.
