We have heard quite a lot recently in relation to the new handset from HTC the HTC Wildfire which has been launched as a cheaper alternative to the HTC Desire.

Now according to Susan Hargreaves over at ukpressreleases.co.uk it appears that there is a great deal for the new device from Vodafone. The HTC Wildfire which we have covered previously here is packed with pretty much all of the features which can be found in the HTC Desire.

The Wildfire is now launched on Vodafone deals and it is expected that further network launches are also planned for the future. The HTC Wildfire is a smaller device than the Desire and has a 3.2 inch touchscreen display as apposed to the 3.7 on the Desire.

You can also enjoy a 5 megapixel camera and the latest Android 2.1 operating system and of course the HTC Sense user interface including the new Friend Stream application. There is also the ability to share applications with all of your friends by including a link in your text message which your friend can click and will then be taken directly to the website for the application.

Another feature is the HTC Wildfire’s contacts entries which now lets you view your friends birthdays and also their profile picture from social networking sites together with Friend Stream which gathers all your online friends activities including their status updates text messages and emails into one simple continued thread.
