So how does Android 2.2 stand up to Android 2.1 well we have some benchmarking numbers for you so you can find out in a video which pits the HTC EVO 4G against the Motorola Droid and the Google Nexus One smartphone.
The Android benchmarking video comes courtesy of the guys over at Daily Mobile by way of Android Central and lasts nearly two and three-quarter minutes and shows the Nexus One running Froyo Android 2.2, the HTC EVO 4G running Android 2.1 Éclair with Sense and the Motorola Droid running stock Android 2.1.
The reviewer uses the Linpack for Android app which tests raw computing power and such and then takes a look at graphics processing, all technical stuff if you are into that kind of thing, personally as long as a smartphone does what it’s supposed to do I’m happy.
Anyway to find out how well each of the smartphones do when compared to each other head on down to the Android benchmarking video below, hit that play button, sit back and enjoy.
