The smartphone wars is always getting hotter and the competition is fierce to say the least, but there are multiple companies releasing many new smartphones in just one single year, well accept Apple that is.
There are many names releasing new smartphones such as HTC, BlackBerry etc and Apple’s main rival is Android and we know there are plenty of new Android phones coming out this year, is Apple releasing enough smartphones a year to compete is our question to you.
The list is endless for phones running Android OS and here are a few; HTC Desire, HTC Hero, Droid Eris, Droid Incredible, Legend, Magic, HTC Sapphire, T-Mobile myTouch 3G, Tattoo, Google Nexus One, T-Mobile G1, Motorola CLIQ, Motorola Backflip, Motorola CLIQ XT and so many more. See them all here.
Apple only releases one smatphone per year, so far they have had the iPhone 2G, 3G and the 3GS, next up is the iPhone 4G that should hopefully be announced June 7 at WWDC 2010. Ok so they release laptops, accessories and of course the recent iPad, but we are mainly talking about smartphones here.
Can Apple keep up with other rivals, is the iPhone so superior they need not worry about releasing more than one phone per year, surely they cannot keep going the way they are only releasing one per year surely not. We will let you answer these questions for us, we are only merely asking a question, as we are intrigued to read what you have to say.
We mentioned not so long ago on Steve Jobs saying the new Apple iPhone could threaten Google in June, can it? The there was the question of Android taking over iPhone OS with Steve replying “Not a chance”. What do you think, please comment in the area provided below.
