Good news for those of you in Canada and interested in getting your hands on a BlackBerry Pearl 3G. It would appear that it is on its way and should land in a matter of days.
A recent article by Ionut Arghire over at softpedia.com confirms that the new device will be available on the airwaves of their national wireless carriers. Rogers is expected to make the BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 available for just $49.99 which will include the signing of a three year contract or without the contract for $374.99.
Initially the carrier will have the device with a promotional price tag of just $29.99 on contract. It is also expected that TELUS will put the device on sale over the next few days for just $29.99 on a three year contract. TELUS are reported to be just launching the pink version to start with followed by the black variant in a couple of weeks.
At present the new BlackBerry Smartphone isn’t visible in the carriers’ online stores, although it probably wont be long before it appears listed there. The BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 should prove to be a nice option for those interested in making the purchase of an affordable handset with some nice features including a 3.2 megapixel camera and a HVGA display.
