As with every new smartphone to hit the mobile space at some stage or another the device receives the ceremonial taking apart to see what a device has inside in detail and expose its redness for all to see, and this time it’s the turn of the HTC EVO 4G.
The guys over at ifixit have done the dastardly deed and taken Sprint’s first smartphone to surf the 4G WiMAX waves, ripped it apart and placed the smartphones innards on display in the traditional manner.
The HTC EVO 4G didn’t put up much of a fight to keep its secrets intact as the guys had no problem revealing all and say the removal of the 3.7,V 1500mAh battery was a breeze and found that there is a moisture sensor on the batteries top edge.
Glass removal on the HTC EVO 4G was also a snap, so replacing a damaged screen shouldn’t be too difficult if you happen to break it. Other than that there’s all the usual gear which was expected inside the device and the guys captured it all on several images all of which can be viewed by hitting the link above.
