WWDC 2010 has kicked of and Reed Hastings from Netflix is out on the stage talking about Netflix for the iPad and coming soon to the Apple iPhone.
He says that they have just launched and it has been a huge success and one of the most downloaded entertainment apps, he does say that it will be released this summer for free.
He carries on to say that Netflix is using Apple’s adaptive bitrate technology; we will bring you more information on this as soon as we know more.
It is good to see the app will be free and can see it being very popular indeed on the iPhone, apparently according to Engadget you will be able to pick up your playback from the last spot like all Netflix players. Stay tuned for more information.
