We reported not too long ago that the HTC EVO 4G smartphone had become the best selling launch day for Sprint and taking the title from the Sprint Palm Pre, you can read that report (here)
Well now according to Laura June over at Engadget, the word is that the HTC EVO 4G is now pretty much sold out online and in stores across the US, with a report over on the BGR stating that Sprint shifted well over 200,000 HTC EVO 4G devices over the weekend.
The HTC EVO 4G, the first smartphone to be able to play nice with 4G, and something even the new iPhone 4 can’t do, is proving to be a very popular handset as show by our continuing popularity poll which you can view (here) and still commands over iPhone 4 popularity with our readership.
Well on Monday Apple announced the iPhone 4 which should be available later in the month, and no doubt will out sell the HTC EVO 4G due to having so many users who will upgrade, but will the iPhone 4 become a sell out device all over the US?
Probably, however, we are also running a poll which asks which device you will go for, the iPhone 4 or HTC EVO 4G, which you can add your vote to (here) and so far more are opting for the EVO than the iPhone 4.
