It does appear that iPhone 4 maker Apple does like causing a fuss which draws the attention of government authorities. It appears that Apple is again facing the possibility of investigation by the US antitrust regulators.
According to a Reuters article, the US antitrust regulators are planning on mounting an investigation to find out if Apple is unfairly restricting Google and other rivals from carrying adverts on Apple products.
Google has previously stated that changes to Apple’s developer agreement will in essence “cripple” Google’s advertising tools on the iconic iPhone which in turn creates “artificial barriers” to competition.
Apparently regulators are already scanning Apples actions says people “familiar with the move”, but it is not clear if the Department of Justice or Federal Trade Commission will take up the probe and Apple couldn’t be reached by Reuters for a response.
