During the Enterprise 2.0 show next week in Boston, IT giant Cisco plans on delivering a “first look” at Cisco Quad, a new enterprise communications application for the Apple iPhone and Apple iPad running iOS 4.
Apparently according to an article over on Itproportal, the Cisco Quad application for iPhone and iPad enhances the way enterprise users communicate and is intended to enable mobile workers to stay connected via the iPhone and iPad with their co-workers.
Senior Vice President and general Manager for Enterprise, Commercial and Small Business at Cisco, Tony Bates says, “Cisco’s vision for a new work space is about empowering organizations with a broader range of collaborative experiences.”
Word has it that Cisco Quad for iPhone and iPad enables workers to automatically receive specific job info and thus reduces the time workers waste in trying to locate the right person, data or document for a specific job.
