Motorola Droid price reduced just $149.99 at Verizon
The Motorola Droid which was launched by carrier Verizon Wireless as one of the hottest handsets running under Google’s Android operating system late 2009 has just had its price reduced to $149.99
Thanks to an article by Ionut Arghire over at softpedia.com for the latest on the price details. Originally the device was available for $199.99 upon the signing of a two year contract and after a mail in rebates.
Now you can get the same device for just $149.99 with the same service contract requirements from the carriers website here. The Motorola Droid was the first to land on the market with Google’s Android 2.0 operating system.
Motorola still has a high demand for the Droid and the reduction on price should boast demand even further. Motorola are planning on two more Android devices which are namely the Motorola Droid X and also the Droid 2 rumours state that both of these handsets should arrive at Verizon at some point this summer. We will of course keep you updated as and when we hear more.
