Motorola new Android phone 2GHz processor due this summer
Looks like Motorola have something that may impress coming this summer the new Android phone which is coming with a 2GHz processor and is twice as fast as the Nexus One, THC Droid Incredible and even the HTC EVO 4G Smartphones.
Thanks to an article by Clint Boulton over at eweekeurope.co.uk we can share more information with you. The company’s CEO Sanjay Jha has said that the Android device will be available by the end of the year. It is unclear at the moment whether the device will run on Android 2.1 or the forthcoming 2.2. Android has been put on the map as a contender to the iPhone with Motorola’s launch of its Droid device in November.
The new device has been confirmed by Jha to come sporting a gyroscope just like the iPhone 4 and it will include an Nvidia Tegra based graphics processor with full flash 10.1 hardware acceleration.
The new Motorola Smartphone will also have HD screen resolution and support 720p output and it will integrate a camera with more than 5 megapixel resolution. The 2GHz processor though is the part to be impressed with as we all know that the Nexus One, Droid Incredible and the HTC Evo 4G are all really fast so imagine doubling those speeds the impact that will have. We also have confirmation that Motorola will feature two to four new phones all with front facing cameras similar to that which is offered by the HTC EVO 4G and what the iPhone 4 will feature. Watch this space we will keep you updated as and when we hear more.
