The other day the Samsung Galaxy Apollo was spotted on a UK website, and apparently a little more information on the Samsung Galaxy Apollo has now surface in as much as this Sammy smartphone is destined for Orange UK as an exclusive handset.
Apparently Ben Sillis of Electric Pig was rather surprised today when he opened his newspaper to find an advert showing the Samsung Galaxy Apollo as an Orange exclusive; seems Samsung had been keeping that one rather quiet.
There’s not a great deal of info to be gleaned from the advert but according to the “coming soon” page over on Orange UK, the Samsung Galaxy Apollo sports a 3.2 inch touch screen, and a 3 megapixel camera and runs the Android operating system.
The article surmises that with those specs the Samsung Galaxy Apollo is more likely to be the Samsung galaxy 3 which was spotted during last month’s Google I/O rather than the Samsung M100S device in South Korea, and they also suggest the Samsung Galaxy Apollo may be price about the same as the Samsung Galaxy Portal.
