The Acer beTouch has been spotted and somewhat resembles the look of the Nokia E72 and other BlackBerry handsets, underneath all that though is an Android pumping away in there.
Thanks to an article by Mic Wright over at electricpig.co.uk we can share with you the specifications of this affordable Android phone. Currently the organ inside is just Android 1.6 however an Android 2.2 update may not be totally be out of the question.
Aside from the 2.6 inch screen and also a full QWERTY keyboard it also comes with Microsoft Exchange support plus a whole load of Google apps. Facebook and Twitter are pre installed on the Acer beTouch E130 and there is 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS not forgetting the 3.2 megapixel camera.
Onboard storage is just 512MB but can be extended by adding an additional 32GB via microSD card. The company have also revealed the Acer beTouch E120 which has the same features but has a 2.8 inch screen and navikey as apposed to the QWERTY keyboard. Both devices are said to be available in black or white first the E120 arriving in July and then the E130 closely behind in August. We will update you when we have more information in relation to the prices.
