iPhone 4 privacy issues affecting AT&T customers

AT&T and Apple are having a few problems following the pre order availability of the new iPhone 4. Reports started almost immediately last week in relation to a security breach on AT&T’s website.

The breach led to the compromising of personal emails of some of the carriers iPad users and it seems according to a recent article by Ionut Arghire over at softpedia.com that those problems haven’t gone away.

Just yesterday Apple and AT&T started the pre orders of the new iPhone 4 and already there have been some reports by customers in relation to security issues in relation to placing orders for the iPhone 4.

The Apple iPhone 4 for those of you that haven’t been around of paying attention is available for purchase from June 24th and for United States customers interested in securing a device in advance, you can head over to AT&T or Apple in order to do so. Having said that, technical issues prevented some of the carriers users yesterday from ordering the device from either Apple or AT&T.

The complaints or concerns received from customers in relation to privacy issues are that some customers have stated that they have inadvertently seen other customers? account information during the iPhone 4 purchasing process. The company has not been about to replicate the issue so therefore it remains unclear as to what information customer have been able to see on the other account.
