Well now, we are not to sure just how they managed to grab hold of the latest Droid device out of the Motorola workshops, but apparently Joanna Stern over at Engadget managed to get a couple of hours playtime with the Motorola Droid X smartphone.
Of course the occasion was captured on video which we have for your viewing pleasure below, and the word is the Motorola Droid X is an “awesome” superphone which is Motorola and Verizon’s answer to the Sprint HTC EVO 4G.
Apparently this beast is slightly longer and wider than the HTC EVO 4G, with a 4.4 inch FWVGA screen, although unconfirmed, Android 2.1 OS with a new MotorBlur, 8 megapixel camera with 720p video, and although a but laggy the video playback is crisper than on the HTC EVO 4G.
So with that said, I’ll let you check out those Motorola Droid X videos below to make up your own minds on whether the device is a challenger to the HTC EVO 4G…enjoy.
