Windows Phone 7 devices for developers next month
Good news for developers that are interested in building applications for Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7 operating system as you should start to receive pre release devices from July.
The recent article published by Ionut Arghire over at softpedia.com confirms that there has been further confirmation on Microsoft’s plans from Brandon Watson who is responsible for the developer platform for Windows Phone 7. He claims that things are ramping up for the move.
It seems though however, that a great deal of issues haven’t been finalised yet. Of course the company is hard working to get everything in order and it seems that the Windows Phone 7 handsets are set to arrive to all kinds of developers.
Don’t expect Microsoft to be sending the device as soon as you apply for it, the handsets which are to be delivered has a rather strict criteria. They will be intended for the developers who can demonstrate that they are building real applications for Windows Phone 7.
